[A]s I sit here and write, I am listening to my 6-year-old daughter and her best friend play fashion designer. Naturally playing in their creative energy and leaning into their feminine power, it makes me reflect on my own childhood. [S]pring is such an amazing season, as the winter is finally starting to let go of it’s hold on us and summers is starting to peak its head out of hiding we can start shedding the layers and are getting ready for some major Vitamin D saturation. There is such a sense of freedom, walking outside with nothing but a light jacket on and daring to go sockless after a long winter of parkas and fighting with your child about why they must wear their snow pants for the 100th time. However, it is not just sunshine and rainbows for everybody, for a lot of people it is also the season of itchy watery eyes and the relentlessly runny nose.
[I] finally fought through a ton of resistance and fear and decided to make my debut into the world of Vlogging. This past year I have been working up to this moment of taking the leap and putting myself out there as a Health Coach. Although this is super exciting for me, I am still fraught with a lot of fear!! Overcoming the fear and doing it anyways is a choice I am going to have to make over and over again but each time I do I am one step closer to living in my truth.
[M]y relationship with food has always been a struggle but two years ago I made a commitment to work on it and my entire world has seen a transformation through this experience. I have gained so much perspective and understanding around food and my body but I have realized that like other relationships it is always changing and ever evolving.
